STL Download: Car Mount - Harbor Breeze Solar Node
Take Your Mesh Network on the Road!
Ready to build a mobile Meshtastic or Meshcore node? This digital download provides the STL files needed to print a heavy-duty vehicle mount for securing a Harbor Breeze Solar Node directly to your car, truck, or SUV roof. Designed with a wide stance, vibration dampening, and four magnetic anchor points, it creates a stable mobile platform for off-grid communications.
File Details & Printing Recommendations:
Built for the Elements (Main Body): For the main mount body, it is highly recommended to print in ASA with 5 walls and 10mm Brim. This ensures maximum strength, UV resistance, and prevents the mount from degrading or deforming in direct sunlight.
TPU Contact Points & Vibration Dampening: The download includes separate STL files for the front bumper and rear spoiler rest to make slicer setup easier. Print these components in 95A TPU to provide a softer resting point against the vehicle and to cushion the solar panel against road vibrations. Increase walls to 6 to print solid with no infill.
Quad-Magnet Base: The base design features four dedicated pockets perfectly sized for heavy-duty 30 lb pull-force magnets, giving the node massive gripping power and a stable footprint at high speeds.
Choose Your Setup: Both N-Type and SMA antenna mount versions are included in the download to fit your specific build requirements.
Licensing & Terms:
This digital download is strictly for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell physical prints of this design, distribute the digital files, or modify them for commercial purposes.
Hardware Notice:
This listing is for digital 3D-printable STL files only. No physical parts are included. You will need to supply your own 3D printer filament, LoRa board, board mounting sled, antenna, antenna hardware, four 30 lb rubberized magnets, and the Harbor Breeze solar unit.
Disclaimer:
The use of this printed design is strictly at your own risk. While the TPU bumper provides a soft contact point, we cannot guarantee that long-term use, trapped dirt, or friction will not cause damage, scratching, or wear to your vehicle's paint, clear coat or body. Ensure your surface is clean before mounting.
Note:
All digital sales are final. Refunds are not available.
